Dr. Kirby

Dr. Kent Kirby is a 1980 Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Michigan with high honors in zoology. He attended medical school at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and graduated in 1984. He continued his studies with training in general surgery and urologic research at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Kirby completed his urology training with three years of clinical urology at Northwestern University in Chicago. Shortly after completing his training, he was named the head of the section of urinary stone disease at the Cleveland Clinic Florida in Fort Lauderdale, a position which he held for five years.

Dr. Kirby's specialty interests include kidney stone disease, erectile dysfunction, and male and female voiding dysfunction, topics in which he has published over 20 scientific articles. He is a national lecturer for a wide variety of topics, particularly in his areas of special interest. Recently, his peers named Dr. Kirby for the fourth time as one of the "Best Doctors in America." His name also appears in Strathmore's "Who's Who."

Dr. Kirby is certified by the American Board of Urology. He is a member of the American Urological Association, the Southeastern Section-AUA, and the American Lithotripsy Society.
